QuIHN provides free, confidential Hepatitis C (Hep C) testing and treatment services across Queensland. Our team is here to support you at every step, from prevention and diagnosis to treatment and ongoing care, ensuring you have access to the help you need. We offer face-to-face and telehealth options.

WHY GET TESTED FOR HEPATITIS C

Hepatitis C is a blood-borne virus that causes damage to your liver. Early detection is key for successful treatment and better health outcomes. If you’ve ever injected drugs, even once, it’s important to consider getting tested for Hep C.

Free, Confidential Testing

We offer quick and noninvasive testing for Hepatitis C. Our process is simple, and you can trust that your privacy will be respected. We use the latest testing methods to ensure same day accurate and reliable results.

OUR HEPATITIS C
TREATMENT SERVICES

Effective Treatment

If you test positive for Hep C, QuIHN provides access to highly effective treatment options which are simple, safe and work really well. Without treatment, Hep C can cause liver disease and liver cancer. Our friendly health professionals will guide you through the entire process to ensure you’re supported from start to finish.

Ongoing Support and Care

Our team of peers, harm reduction workers and Nurse Practitioners provide ongoing care, including regular check-ups, health education, and counselling, to ensure your treatment stays on track and you achieve the best health outcomes possible.

PREVENTION  AND  EDUCATION

Preventing Hepatitis C is just as important as treating it. At QuIHN, we offer a full range of needles and syringes, education on safer injecting practices, harm reduction strategies, and other ways to reduce the risk of transmission. Our goal is to help you protect yourself and others.
