QuIHN  Group  Programs

QuIHN provides a range of therapeutic and psychosocial group programs designed to complement our individual counselling services. These groups are a supportive space for people affected by substance use, any associated mental health concerns, or related family issues.

WHY ATTEND A GROUP?

Our group programs are built on the client-centred approach we use in counselling. Joining a group can help you connect with others facing similar challenges, learn new coping strategies, and receive support in a welcoming environment.

MudMaps Group

Our MudMaps group is open to anyone making (or thinking about making) changes to their substance use, whether it’s opioids, amphetamines, alcohol or cannabis. Group topics are participant-led, with guidance from a trained facilitator.

MAISE Group (Mental Health and Illicit Substances Education)

The MAISE Group is designed for individuals seeking to address substance use and any associated mental health concerns (dual diagnosis). This program provides support, skill-building, and education and is an excellent addition to ongoing case management or counselling services. Before joining, you will be assessed by a case manager, support worker, or counsellor to ensure the program meets your needs.

Treehouse Parenting Group

The Treehouse Parenting Group offers a supportive space for parents navigating substance use and mental health challenges. The program focuses on building positive parenting skills, addressing parental concerns, and offering education on the effects of substance use and mental health on family life. It also provides guidance on child protection issues, where applicable.

Southport

Nuts & Bolts Group

Nuts & Bolts is a welcoming group focused on relapse prevention and harm reduction. Join us to build practical skills and strategies that support your wellbeing.

Wiser Minds Group

Wiser Minds is a skills-based group that helps participants develop emotional regulation and distress tolerance. This program is open to anyone looking to build these valuable life skills.

Mindfulness is a practical, skills-based group that helps you better manage thoughts, emotions and stress. Learn simple, everyday techniques you can use to feel more grounded and in control.
