QuIHN’s counselling services provide support to individuals who wish to address their drug use, we also support any mental health concerns (dual diagnosis). Counselling is also available for friends, family or carers of someone with substance use and/or mental health concerns.
QuIHN offers a range of group programs for people whose lives are affected by substance use and any related mental health and/or parenting and family issues that may be present.
Our Outreach team primarily works with referrals from the Hospital and Health Service area and provides an outpatient case management and counselling service with the capacity to provide after hour’s services to those affected by alcohol and/or substance use concerns.
Our Hep C program engages with people who inject drugs, people on Opiate Substitution Therapy (OST), people who may be residing in rehabilitation centres, people experiencing homelessness, people recently released from custody/prison, and other groups who may be experiencing significant barriers to their Hep C treatment and care.
