This psychosocial education and support group
is for individuals contemplating or making changes to drug-related behaviours.
It is offered in a straightforward format, with emphasis on understanding
and dealing with substance abuse and developing the lifeskills that are necessary
to sustain a healthier lifestyle.
The group is based on a model of participant self-determination and
the main goals of the group are to:
Regular evaluations of the group are maintained, so as to continually improve the content and facilitation of the group, and remain in tune with the needs of participants.
Mud Maps is facilitated by a member of the InHouse Project
Team .
It is held every Monday from 10.30am to 12pm in the QuIHN Boardroom. If Mud Maps
falls on a public holiday, then the group is run on the next working day.
